“Very nice getaway!! They had everything that you might need!”

“Things could use a good dusting.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described. The house was perfect for our hiking trip as we “slack pack” the AT. Each day we hiked about 10 miles and came back to relax in the hot tub or drive to nice dinner spots in Lansing & West Jefferson! Thanks Again”

“I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. They had everything I needed to cook and grill there, except the food of course. The property outside is well maintined. I saw deer and hummingbirds while sitting on the……

“This charming cottage was perfect for our college roommates’ 47th reunion. We loved the cozy feel and had everything we needed. We walked to everything…restaurants, shops, Virginia Creeper Trail. The host was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend!”

“We loved the tranquility of the setting and the house itself. We didn't see anyone in our area until we went to our wine tasting up the road. There were opportunities to explore the river and outside area, as well as relax on the porch and inside. We loved the sauna. Our kids loved it too.”

“Property was great and exactly as described. Very thoughtful amenities and communication to prepare you for low cell signal. Be sure if you are a coffee drinker to take some with you as they only provide 2 kcups. But they do have a great 2 in 1 coffee pot that allows kcups and pots of coffee. ”

“Enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the woods! Our boys loved exploring the property, especially the creek. We also loved having the Solo Stove right by the house.”

“This was a wonderful place for a little family getaway for the weekend!! It’s in a very convenient location close to Mt. Airy and many dining out options! It was an adorable and charming home and I’d highly recommend it!”

“Beautiful property. Comfortable bed. Awesome weather. Very helpful & responsive host!”

“Great place to stay. House was clean and comfortable. Good location. Walk to downtown West Jefferson. Easy drive to other areas. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of towels and blankets. I hope we can return again.”

“Nice 3 night stay. Loved the proximity to town, very convenient parking, great on site laundry. Very comfortable unit and easy communication with host.”

“The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals. The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable. All in all a great escape from CLT.We……

“Very clean and cozy, by far the most well-stocked rental I have ever had which was very nice. Lovely area with the creek right there. The whole area is very spread out and I am glad I checked the driving distances to parks we wanted to visit before we booked!”
