「This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the last nine months, and it is excellent. The staff, rooms and especially the food they serve is excellent. 「This was a fantastic place to stay. It is in the center of town, so convenient to shops and restaurants. The room (tufted owl) was spacious and very clean. It had a private bathroom (with a shower). It does not have air conditioning, but had large windows and a fan and I was comfortable in mid-July even as a person who sleeps hot. 「Lovely warm welcome from Terri who showed me around the guest lounge, outdoor seating and breakfast room. The bedroom was large, with a dressing table, armchairs, large bed, roll top bath and a separate large shower. The room was spotless! Terri recommended the George Pub for dinner just 2-minute walk, which was superb. Breakfast was superb, lovely breakfast room, great choice, freshly prepared cooked breakfast. Will return!」

「Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic. 」
