“We arrived early but the room wasn't quite ready yet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were still allowed to utilize the amenities, despite being early, which we were incredibly grateful for! We changed into our swimsuits in the very clean and well-maintained bathroom in the lobby and enjoyed the pool while we waited for the room to be ready. “I was disappointed in this hotel. I booked this hotel as a halfway point to break up a long drive, and I specifically booked it because it has a pool. We got there, and the pool was out of service. By the looks of it, it was not opened at all this summer, so it should not have been listed as having a pool. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The hotel room was subpar. “The room was clean, and the lady at the counter was very nice. Main problem with the room was lack of anywhere to hang my clothes. No closet space at all. They should take the stove out of the room and add a closet. It would have been nice also to have a rack for my suitcase. But it was clean. I took spray cleaner (like 409) and paper towels and went over all the surfaces, and did not find much dirt at all, so good job on that. It is a really basic place to stay. “It was horrible, there were cockroaches all over the place, when we went to ask them for another room since it was earlier morning they told us we were filled and that they could not refund us, the blankets had burn holes and different colored stains on it and the Tv had no cable so we could not watch anything, there was no soap no shampoo no towels. when we then asked for towels and toilet paper we were given one roll and got one towel and we had to argue to get 2 towels since there are 2 of us……
