「Lovely property part of a lovely pub and restaurant. Breakfast was amazing, hot and tasty. Lots of choice for breakfast. 」

「Although I’ve marked everything as excellent, I have to point out that the signature plus townhouse double room is accessed by a steep set of stairs into what was the basement. However it is a very nice room and the bathroom, again accessed by more stairs down (5), is also lovely. If this was pointed out on the Expedia website, I missed it. 「Really nice place. Friendly and very helpful. Only a one night stay this time which was a pity because I enjoyed a longer stay last time and would have liked to stay a bit longer this time. The restaurant is closed on Mondays but plenty of other options a short walk away in the high street. I would ahve liked to eat at Candlesticks though becuase the food there was excellent last time. 」

Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit.」

「Ample parking, lovely looking hotel. Our room was a bit on the small side,the area to access the sink was incredibly tight. My husband had to be at an angle making shaving impossible. Thankfully it was fine for one night but anymore could have been problematic.」
