“It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. “Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. The ruins at Reculver are managed by English Heritage but are free to visit. Originally a Roman fort built against Saxon raids. Later an Anglo-Saxon monastary before becoming a parish church in the 12th Century. Fine views and lovely walks along the coast. There is a local pub for refreshments too!
