"The young lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and clean. The hot tub was good. It was a bit of a walk, but nothing bad. My only complaint would be the location: right next to a creepy-looking mortuary."

"Lovely site with stunning views from all rooms, and an enjoyable Penisula walk throughout the property. Dinner at the Coast Kitchen was also very nice. Our complaints were that water bottles were not refilled in the rooms, nor were dirty cups & glasses replaced. We ended up going out & buying a jug of water and having to reuse drinkware. There was also no coffee available to make in the room, and it wasn’t readily available in the main lodge outside of the hours of 6AM - 8AM. Our dislikes seem minor but when you have such a nice facility with premium priced rooms, little inconveniences really stand out."

"This is one of my favorite vacation rentals ever. The house is well-furnished and decorated, which makes it feel inviting and homey. The kitchen has everything one may need for preparing meals. The expansive deck has lots of comfortable seating, and an incredible view. Large windows bring the ocean inside at all times. It’s heavenly! We walked over to the excellent Mexican restaurant next door, as well as to Trink’s on the other side of the house, where we had delicious lattes and baked goods. The communication with the host was superb - nearly immediate answers to my questions. I would certainly stay here again."

"The house was very clean. The kitchen stove, dishwasher and refrigerator were in great working order. The downtown area in Gualala is very nearby, shops and grocery stores. The view from the dining room overlooking the PACIFIC was the highlight of the house."
