Staff tries to be helpful but English is limited. Room was dated and time for an overhaul. Main buffet restaurant closes at 8pm. 15 minute cab ride to main part of town. Nothing for foreigners nearby the hotel.
the bed is so soft and makes you fall asleep really fast. generally clean but they keep forgetting to change the glasses on the next day. tried to tell this to room service ober the phone bit they couldn't understand. in the end, somebody kindly came up to understand what i meant.
Business trip pleasant stay front rooms noisy from the construction to the right of hotel.
Gym good with reasonable equipment, pool was empty.
When booking through Hotels.com the reception was reluctant to issue a Fa Piao ( Chinese receipt ) on check out.
Stayed a couple of nights on a business trip. It was a good standard hotel some things not quite totally Asian and some not all European but sat comfortably in the middle so neither demographic would feel out of place.
The Reception staff spoke a little English though not all of them fluently.
There are two restaurants one Chinese and one International, the International one has a reasonably priced Buffet but get in early as there is usually little left after about 1900. What food there was left was a little strange to anyone who has tried any of the (numerous) dishes in their country of origin. I didn’t try the Chinese Restaurant some of the Dishes in the International one were different enough for one trip.
Hotel was good value for money compared to similar standards in other countries.
The wifi was not the fastest and seemed to work best in the Lobby.
Although the number of people limited, their services for tourist, information and fraffic arrangement is admirable.
It was lucky for me to find them located near to Nansha ferry terminal, most reasonable way to goback to Hongkong by sea.
