I haven't been to Guisborough for well over 40 years and it's still a lovely quaint Yorkshire village, but there are an awful lot of new estates going up which spoils the old bit somewhat.

Room was clean, warm and spacious. Bed was cosy. Really enjoyed the meal - service was fab - and there was a great choice of keg and cask ales. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the view was fantastic, the floor to ceiling windows gave us a very good view of the sea and the Abbey. The best room we have had after the upgrade.
