“Overall, we had a memorable trip, but there were definitely some highs and lows. Unfortunately, Esteban nearly ruined part of our experience. His behavior felt classist and inconsistent. As Latinos vacationing in Mexico, it was disappointing to feel judged based on appearance. I wore Birkenstock sandals to every meal prior without issue, yet he turned us away at Bordeaux because of them. After changing and returning, we watched him allow multiple guests in wearing open-toed sandals no dressier……

“I stayed here in early April 2026. Pros: Food was okay to good. The buffet restaurant had a good mix of food with a theme for each day. Mayan day was yummy. Ala carte Mediterranean restaurant had beautiful views. Poolside ice creams enjoyable. Junior suite was spacious. Daily delivery of drinks to put in mini fridge appreciated. Check in/out was easy. Cons: no one serviced my room when asked (4 day stay). Commons areas were dirty (elevators, walls, doors, cloth seating). Room smelled strongly……

“Uncomfortable Stay due to AC Issue. 1/24/25- 1/30/25 Room416 The AC only had a cold mode with no way to adjust the temperature, makes the room uncomfortable cold. As a result, I got a cold after six nights stay. In the first few days, I feel I can get used to it, so I didn’t complain. In the last day of stay, I started to had a running nose. Today is Feb 5th. I’m still in sick. I hope management address this issue for future guests. ”
