Rooms with beautiful ocean view, staff very nice and helpful, very large pools - breakfast complete. Ocean was full of sargassum in front of the hotel but we managed to find a clean spot by walking a bit past the Hard Rock Hotel. And Isla Mujeres with crystalline waters is not far anyway.

The onsite restaurants were fabulous. The meals were delicious and the service was outstanding. The beautiful pools and landscaping provide a perfect place to be lazy and lounge for the day. The pool side table service is the best. I would definitely go back.

We stayed in a grand ocean front suite. It was spacious and comfortable with a spectacular view. The hotel construction was a bit on the way; a temporary entrance, no lobby, and limited elevator. I had expected to receive some kind of refund or voucher, but still I give it a 5-star. It’s a great place to spend your family vacation.

JW Marriott Cancun -- a top end property with endless pools, poolside bars, great food, and direct access to the white sand beach. To give you an idea of how thorough the service is -- they employ a falconer to chase away other birds from the pool and beach area. I didn't see one seagull while there. What I especially appreciate is that they don't nickel-and-dime for minor things. Even a basic room -- quite reasonably priced -- gets free water bottles and coffee replaced each day. The bars, restaurants, and shops don't overcharge like other on-prem retailers at other hotels.
