The house is very near downtown, clean and pretty, Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise and that made it hard to sleep. It would have been nice to have a kettle - instead we used a pot to heat water and kept spilling water everywhere. The washer/dryer room was also excellent.

My husband and I liked the architectural details of this historic property, which is well located in walking distance of restaurants and shops. It is on a fairly busy street and does not have air conditioning. I'm a light sleeper so the traffic noise kept me up and even with the window open and two fans going, it was still rather warm at night. Overall, though, we had a good stay - we particularly enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch and waking up to find two deer in the yard!
