"Overall very pleasant stay. If you are looking for a beautiful location and view this is the place! Waking up to the view every morning was stunning. Location was great and walkable. Close proximity to drive and explore many sites…..keep in mind this hotel is dated. Old tv, ok beds, no frills. Our room was “cleaned” and ready upon arrival but there was hair on our sheets and pillows, toothpaste and hair in sink, mirrors spotted and smeared, not vacuumed and sticky residue on remotes and tv boxes. Someone came a changed our sheets, but I bought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down myself. The front desk people are so pleasant and helpful, so I would just suggest checking your room condition upon arrival, could have been a one time experience as we read other reviews."

"So happy with our week long stay. From proximity to main road, cleanliness, size of standard room, two pools, jacuzzi, and being steps from the water this place was perfect. Check in/out process was simple and staff was so very friendly. They have free self and valet parking, free bike rentals on a first come first served bases, free yoga in the morning, and filtered water refill stations. One last thing this place is walking distance from coconut market place which has restaurants, shops and best of all an ABC store! It's also walking distance from Napali brewing, passion bakery cafe and other great places!"

"Nice secluded place. Condo type units. One private bedroom and daybed with bifold door. Full Kitchen and Two bathrooms. If you want a great ocean view pay for the "delux" ocean view. No workout facility. Beautiful property --casual and great price for area."

"Great location "

"The property itself is beautiful and everything went smoothly at first. However, there were significant issues that impacted our overall experience. We saw multiple roaches in the unit, which was concerning from the start. On our last evening, the unit flooded due to an adjacent rooms problem. We had maintenance in and out for several hours, disrupting our evening. While the issue was eventually addressed, there was no meaningful compensation for the time we were impacted, no move to another unit or urgency to find us another stay. The response felt impersonal and lacking in care, and the only compensation offered was removal of the resort fees, which did not feel proportionate to the disruption. It was disappointing given how much we enjoyed the stay up until that point but the customer service was lacking. Because of these issues, we would not choose to stay here again or recommend this stay. "

"Great studio in Princeville. Small but perfect for a single person or couple. Has some beach accessories as well (chairs and a cooler which came in handy). Complex had a nice size pool and jacuzzi. Host was easy to communicate with and gave clear check in instructions. "

"Beautiful property and beach access key! Room was musty. My husband’s allergies went through the roof. Restaurants were delicious and priced well. Pizza was perfection. Both restaurants decorated beautifully and the staff were so friendly! No breakfast restaurant option other than a small market with coffees, bagels, and burritos that were as hot as Hawaiian lava! The overnight oats and yogurt was yummy. Pool water was freezing and unfortunately the hot tub was over run with young children the entire week. Definitely rent a car! There are no Ubers that far north and nothing is walking distance. Fitness center was sufficient and tennis pro, Mary was a doll! "

"The Fern Grotto Inn was a great location for exploring the island. The hosts seemed to think of everything from laundry to coffee to kayaks. It was a wonderful experience."
