“Very quiet location a short drive from Hilo. Beautiful grounds filled with fruit trees, charming birds, and the coqui frogs will relax you at night. The screened-in lanai is airy with ceiling fans and you will enjoy every spare moment out there or even a nap. Spacious well equipped kitchen and brand new appliances throughout. Many great snorkeling adventures in Hilo make great day trips. Check out the Tuesday night traditional Hawaiian music at the Hilo Town Tavern. ”

“House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. We enjoyed it here, directly on the Hamakua coast line. Thanks for all, Dannie!”

“This has the most beautiful view ever. The waterfalls and forest from the deck is spectacular. The hosts were also amazing. We were actually there during a tsunami warning and they called and talked us through it and also called the sweet neighbor to come over and give us information as well. All the things you could need in a kitchen and for the beach were there as well. It was clean and check in and out was super easy. ”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Robert and Erin’s place in Hilo. Every detail was thoughtful, from the shampoo and conditioner available in each shower, to the snacks, to all the beach equipment, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the washer and dryer. There was nothing we needed that they didn’t have. They were quickly responsive to any questions we had. The house itself was perfect for our family of five - the two adults stayed in the bedroom upstairs, and the three kids shared the bedroom……

“House was very beautiful clean and big like really big we came up for a softball tournament and they say can fit 15 people its more like 20 people and still get so much room and plenty of car space to can fit at lease 7-8 cars easy love this place will be coming back for sure u can bet on that.”

“Check in process was extremely easy, room was very cute and clean. Quiet neighborhood with the exception of the frogs at night haha. Great area and was close to everything. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I will say that I did not notice the bathroom is kind of open air, so just a heads up for others that may not be fully comfortable with that.”
