“All the rooms named after birds . Makes a change from numbers. They also changed rooms for me to accommodate my disabled wife. Staff were very helpful and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble.”
“I was disappointed that there was no communal dining area.
I had two friends, who were staying at the same time.
It would have been nice, to have our breakfast together.
Regards,
Mike Body”
“Being right on the river, as my husband is a fisherman it was his utopia!
Would have liked a different menu, the Sunday lunch was great, but more choices would be nice. Desserts were a challenge!

“We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”
“This is an old building very well looked after, clean throughout, excellent menu, staff works hard and are accommodating, we will be coming back, thank you ”
“This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.”
“My stay here after the refurbishment was such a surprise! The decor is lovely and has given me inspiration for my own home. The staff were the right amount of attentiveness, the food was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.
The room was fresh and new and I loved the design. The bed was comfortable and courtyard location was so quiet.
I am already looking for dates to book again! ”
“We stayed here for one night and it was perfect for that. The ladies in the pub are super friendly and we enjoyed the big breakfast and evening dinner. ”
“Highly recommend this excellent property. Very well presented with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Great communication with lovely host. On site parking, walking distance from fabulous beach and restraints. ”
