“Located on a peaceful side street near town with a stunning view of Kachemak Bay and mountains, this property is perfect for a weekend getaway. The accommodations are so pleasant, spacious, freshly updated, sparkling clean with attention to so many details. The fresh bowl of fruit was a nice, welcomed treat. The living/dining area is comfortable, the kitchen area is more than adequate for small meals/snacks (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker), the bedrooms and bathroom are large and well……

“We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Moose’s View. It was a perfect location for exploring Homer, close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the beautiful view of the Homer Spit, Katchemak Bay, and the surrounding mountains. We saw bald eagles and moose from the living room window, and sandhill cranes in the neighbor’s yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit……

“PERFECT for us. The property sit right at Ramp 1 of small boat harbor. Panoramic windows allows views of a working fishing town. Halibut charters are literally right across the street. There boats are literally right down ramp in front of house. Shops and restaurants are close walking distance and not to mention the breathtaking mountains and bay. I could stay a month here…or a lifetime. House was rustic Homer on the outside but was clean and modern on the inside. Comfortable and spacious front……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- we had an end unit facing the bay. It was spacious with a full kitchen and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The heated floors in the bathroom were a welcomed treat! And the washer & dryer were a nice feature as this was the second half of our trip after a week on a cruise ship. Liz was a fabulous host. She even left us a welcome bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! Her recommendations for restaurants and a local art gallery were spot on and……

“My mom and I are grown and raised Alaskans that now reside in the lower 48. We came back to visit Homer for her 40th High School Reunions and stayed at the Pioneer Inn, along with my husband. It was just like staying at grandmas place, which coincidently was just up the street ;-) It was perfect for our needs. Conveniently located to shops, the spit, and restaurants (Twisted Goat right next door has great pizza!). We like sitting sipping our morning coffee enjoying the mountain views outside our……
