“Was expecting a proper river view if the room is described as having a “river view”. Not quite the same if you have to squash your head against the window to see it. Apart from that nice room and hotel. ”

“Excellent stay, only criticism would be location for public transport to Newcastle is a bit confusing and not as straight forward as it seems. Albeit we’d stay here again”

“Welcome drinks gives a good first impression. Although no air conditioning, hotel offers fan for ventilation and that's okay for night temperture of below 20 degrees. Location close to city centre with lots of pubs and restaurants around.”

“It was fantastic. Staff were friendly and hotel was spotless. No complaints from me ”

“Soundproof isn’t quiet good, especially on Saturday night when there were too many drunk ladies, they came back super late, very loud, also they tried to open my door, many times, 3am to 4am, I didn’t sleep at all.”

“Staff were friendly and efficient. Night porter was very helpful to a young person in our group Breakfast was good enjoyed the fresh fruit and Greek yogurt ”

“Honestly for the price this room was brilliant, noise from the bar wasn’t bad - the walls are quite thin though so you can hear people in the corridor loudly. Only thing I’d say which needs sorting is the stench coming from the plumbing. We had to keep the bathroom door shut the entire time because it stank so bad. Also we stayed on the top floor and it was absolutely boiling with the window open, unsure why as it’s only 16 degrees outside but that did disrupt my sleep. Apart from that,……

“The central train station is just nearby. It is very convenient to travel to other city. Overall, it is clean and polite.”
