“Baker Cabin was peaceful, clean and well run. Bobby and Walter made us feel welcome and comfortable and were there if we needed something. We had a great week fishing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.”

“Pictures are representative of the property. It’s really a beautiful log cabin, not a brand new condo. Bathrooms are more than sufficient. Kitchen is well stocked. Screen room is wonderful!”

“Enjoyed our stay! Kayaking and fire pit were both great fun. Thanks for everything!”

“Leslie and Emily are two amazing women. When we first showed up, we weren’t sure but they showed us around property and as we got to know them and the property as they are very hands on and they are great people. The water tube bed in the Richard Glamp was interesting to sleep on; I did great my husband not so much. Only writing this so you know. The fact that they made pizza for a nominal fee everyday was a great concept as there isn’t much around there to eat. They also do same thing……

“The pizza was amazing. Everything was clean, organized, and contributed to the aesthetic.”

“This was nice for a short getaway in the woods. Bonus points for allowing us to bring our dog. It was our first time "glamping". The place is clean, remote and exactly how it was described. It was just not our thing.”

“Great place To Stay!!Can’t wait to return !!Definitely one of the best places we stayed at over the years!!!”

“Everything was good”

“Very charming little cabin, very clean and host was very responsive and helpful.”

“Description stated lake view but didn’t say this wasn’t from the cabin. To get to the dock you had to walk 200 feet and once almost there, there is a decline. Walking stick advised to walk up the incline upon cabin return. The path to the dock makes you feel like you’re sneaking on the edge of the neighbors property. The canoe is without life jackets which is mandatory for use. The driveway, which the bonfire is right next to, is shared with the neighbors. No real storage area for pantry goods……

“Place was nice for the money compared to others with similar beds/bathrooms. There’s no air conditioning. Not that it was advertised to have it, but I wish I had known. Bunk beds had no linens in them when we got there. Upstairs carpets were dirty. Couches nearly impossible to sit on as you sunk in. Fire pit is nice, though it does overlook the main road. Also you have to Pay for your own garbage removal. Host was fairly responsive. Location to Main Street in Old Forge is fantastic.”

“The property and house were excellent. Very clean and right on the water. We enjoyed the provided kayaks. One suggestion would be to state in the description and directions that the cabin is called “Skylight”. The directions we received stated the address as number 6, which was very hard to find in the dark with other houses on either side of it.Otherwise, we really enjoyed it.”

“It was such a sweet place to stay with lots of amenities/features for the price. Lots of places nearby to hike, get supplies, and even some places to eat. The host was great! Would stay here again. ”

“Very cozy and comfortable, lots of space to spread out. Very accommodating and a nice place to hang out with family.”

“My family & I had a very relaxing vacation! The river was beautiful & we enjoyed floating around on the tubes! We also enjoyed the hot tub! I would recommend this if you are looking for a place to relax & enjoy nature:)”

“A comfortable beautiful place. Stayed in the area for a wedding and felt this place could be visited as a vacation spot in the future.”
