“Lodge style accommodation. No A/C or ceiling fan, so the room was a bit stuffy for sleeping. Rear window screen was broken, so could only use the front and bathroom windows for ventilation. Room was clean, provided shampoo but no conditioner. Bed and pillows okay. Probably would not stay here again during warm months due to lack of a/c or ceiling fan.”

“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “Beautifully decorated rustic spacious home. Very clean. Many new amenities. Kitchen is very up-to-date. Host was very responsive. Canal right behind house is great for kayaking. Ice cream shop in front has great variety. You have to access the house through the ice cream shop parking lot which always has a line of people. Though the park parking lot is right next door and convenient to park at. Park with beach, playground, tennis courts is only 100 yd away. Very close to many hiking trails of……

“The house was beautiful and the hot tub was warm. Definitely could have been cleaned a bit more as we found some left behind items in very common areas. We were also asked to refrain from hanging decorations as this was not a party house but found tape already on the walls. Not, sure how any of this was missed if the house was thoroughly cleaned. Other than that we had a great time. ”
