The host was very responsive and friendly and gladly answered any questions and concerns we had. “This VRBO is in an ideal location for exploring New England in the Fall. It is within easy travel of The White Mountains, Kennebunk Port, Ogunquit, Portsmouth, Newburyport, Salem & Boston. It was exceptionally clean, spacious accommodation, with comfortable beds. The lounge has a large smart TV for evenings in. The host family were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to reccommend the VRBO to anyone coming to this area.”

“The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. It was the perfect size for a small group of us to stay and be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. We had everything we needed, including a cute little snack area. I would say the only downside was that the building was very old and therefore not soundproofed. So we heard everything the young kids were up to downstairs, quite early in the morning. Still, we’d definitely rent again!”

“The carriage house was comfortable, cozy and in a nice location with a spectacular view. The house is as described online. I would suggest taking your own toiletries and your own bed linens if you have an allergy to scented laundry products. Overall, it was a great place to stay and the owners were accommodating. The friendly little dog, pippa was so sweet and greeted us in the driveway everyday.”

“The small room was beautifully appointed and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities I could need. The balcony and sea view were great, and a low-tide stroll of the beach was an easy 2-minute walk away.”

“Very good overall. Close to beach. Problems … water took a long time to turn to hot for hand washing and showers. Porch windows would not open… when we got in temp read 78 on the main unit…. Took a long time to get it down to 68. We had a hard time controlling temperature.. There was no lobster pot. You need one.”
