“The property is located on a very busy street so with thin walls and windows we struggled to get a good sleep. The sunrise is quite early and the windows don’t have any curtains so bring eye masks. There is an air conditioner in one room, the other room gets very hot. We discovered there were bugs as we woke up with bugs bites, not sure if it were mosquitoes or bed bugs. The beds and pillows are quite hard and only one pillow per bed. No washing machine and the house is quite away from anything.……

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“The small house was perfect for us (4 adults and one child) to go around Kyoto. There is a big supermarket and several restaurants in walking distance and a playground 20m away (you don’t hear the playground). Beside the local tax link not working, everything went very smooth!”

“此間應是新民宿，內外都好新，2人住全棟（2層），廳於地下（有簡單小廚房），2間房位於1/F（亦有廚房）。行15分鐘可到車站，附近亦有公眾停車場。唯需到京都站附近辦登記手續（可約車送去住宿地方，16:00 - 19:00, 每小時一班車）”

“It is disappointing that the room was not cleaned up at all and everything was in a mess when we checked in at 5pm. We went to the place we checked in and complained. The manager did apologize sincerely and promise to clean up the room in 2 hours and refund partially to us. The room had been cleaned up when we came back at 10pm and it was actually quite cosy - bright and good air conditioning. It's a pity that it couldn't leave us a good first impression. Also. the room's insulation is poor……

“Immaculately maintained, well equipped, beautifully furnished house on a quiet street just a few steps away from a wonderful, covered shopping street. Restaurants, grocery stores and other stores are steps away. A really amazing place to stay. Our family of 4 enjoyed 5 nights there.”

“Loved the house design inside/outside and the overall attention to detail. However, there was a small amount of left over mess from the previous guests. I.e crumbs throughout the kitchenette area.”
