「宿には表示が無く、写真にある暖簾も無いので、夜、場所を特定するのが難しかった。電話で問い合わせたが、日本語がよくわからないようで要領を得なかった。宿泊設備としては申し分無いが、非常灯の電池は切れていて、床には髪の毛とホコリがあって、清掃は不十分。しかし駅には近いので、良い。」

「Kumano house is cozy, clean and organized, and I loved all of the information provided for places to eat and visit. I was caught off guard with the rooms being on the 2nd floor and the steep stairs was burdensome with elderly family members in our party. We made it work and we enjoyed living in a typical home in Japan. Uber transportation were hesitant in traveling down the lane to the house but we also made that work. My group really enjoyed our time here at Kumano House. 」

「The location is quite good. Since it is located near the hot spot, it is very convenience for buying and eating. The hotel is alos quite near to the bus and train station. The environment is quiet and the experience of living there is great. The staff is helpful when I am in trouble and this is a hotel that I will strongly recommended if staying in Kyoto.」
