「My friends and I were in town to run the Mount Desert Island half marathon and hike Acadia National Park. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided and cleanliness and warm feeling of the house. The sunroom was a great place to relax. This was the perfect location for us and town was very walkable. Would highly recommend a stay here! 」

「If you are looking for a place with the fanciest furnishings, and most up to date fixtures, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, inviting well lived and loved home, this is it. It has a great location, may be dated, but is completely functional. 「Lovely home in a very beautiful/tranquil setting. Loved the fully equipped kitchen(s), comfortable beds and furniture, and outdoor seating. We loved the nature setting and water views, while being within 30 minutes of Acadia/Bar Harbor, 15 minutes from Ellsworth for general shopping/groceries, and 10 minutes from the amazing Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound. Two living areas and two full baths provided plenty of space for everyone to gather and/or study/read. Liz was very responsive and helpful...

「We lightly used the property as we enjoy so many of the local restaurants. The location was perfect for us to enjoy the fun of Bar Harbor. The spacious rooms with many gathering areas would work especially well for a multi-generational family vacation. Having a laundry was helpful. The porches were wonderful for unwinding in the evening or a sunrise cup of coffee. This is a great place. I would recommend it. 」

「For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, and showed no signs of end of season tiredness. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glassware, cooking and baking supplies.The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses...

「Excellent house, very spacious and clean. A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker broken. The main bathroom window needs a shade or...
