“This hotel was a great price and we expected it to be less amazing because of it. It did not disappoint. It was a great location, close enough to everything but far enough away that it was peaceful. The room was great minus the wood door to the bathroom that was a bit water damaged so it was very difficult to close. That was the only issue. Everything else was incredible. We will be back for my birthday next year!”Cynthia

“My experience was mixed. The front-desk staff were pleasant and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, my experience at the beach restaurant was disappointing. The service was slow, and I felt as though I had to approach the staff myself to follow up on my order rather than being attended to in a timely manner.
I expected a more attentive and consistent level of service throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the experience at the beach restaurant left me feeling overlooked and not fully taken……Alexis Renee

“The beaches are nice. Good breakfast. Bar open until 1130. Rental vehicle company onsite. A few walkable options for food and entertainment. Good photo op destination. I like the pictures at check-in that gives you the history of Avila.”Peter

“Check-in was smooth, even at the late hour we arrived. The room was clean, with beutiful lighting. The buffet breakfast includes eggs, bacon, muffins, croissants, fruit, coffee, tea, juice, meat, veggie, and cheese area, with a few other pastries and cereals. We didn't have time to take advantage of the pool or other amenities, but I would happily return.”Angela

“Such a charming, colorful place! Everything is very clean and well kept, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The location is a major highlight, making it a convenient base for exploring and enjoying the area. What truly makes this place special, though, is the amazing staff. They are friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, making you feel welcome and well taken care of. A wonderful choice for anyone looking for a great location, a lovely setting, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommend!”Marcus

“I want to begin by acknowledging that the staff at this property were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, kind, and pleasant throughout our stay, and I genuinely appreciated their hospitality. However, despite the wonderful staff, I cannot overlook the serious safety, security, privacy, cleanliness, and maintenance issues we experienced during our visit.
As a woman traveling in another country, feeling safe in my accommodations is not a luxury; it is a basic expectation.……Cherrelle

“What a great team at Hotel 't Klooster in Willemstad, Curaçao!
The people working at this lovely boutique hotel (formerly a monastery) in Willemstad go out of their way to create a feeling of home, friendliness and warmth and they succeed!!
The hotel is delightful, with a inner court yard with seating areas, buffet breakfast, swimming pool, in a quiet area but close to many great restaurants. Comfortable rooms with AC. Bar and onsite Mediterrean tapa restaurant Oliva.
Would I return? Oh……Odette Manon
