“The property has good character with its solid marble statues scattered on the grounds and real solid wood mahogany classic furniture inside the rooms.
During my recent visit, I stayed in a room that has two levels joined by wooden stairs; the upper level was like a reading/ conversation/ music listening room; and the lower level had a big bathroom with a hugh bathtub in the middle of the floor, a nice bedroom, a study area with desk plus a separate space for the coffee station. “Such a fantastic stay. Room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lively street. It can get loud at night (Thursday-Saturday) but adds to the charm of Pietermaai. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and easy to walk to Punda and Otrabanda. Enjoyed having the pool to cool down after long days in the heat.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Curaçao Gardens for our honeymoon. Walking distance to shopping and souvenir shops including the beautiful Hulanda Village. Our plunge pool was cool and refreshing after a long day out on the town or by the ocean. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We suggest going next door to Maira's for breakfast or dinner, the owner is very kind and the food is spectacular. All around a great visit for these Americans.”

“I’m going to give the property a five star for many reasons, it was in the heart of everything, restaurants, shopping, bars, night club and excursions. The views from the hotel and the pool were breathtaking. The bar the had on the property was called BLACKJACK and they had some good from and drinks. We had one problem with our stay, when we arrived the bathroom had sand all over the floor and the toilet still had urine in it, we called front office and they immediate sent someone up to clean……

“My husband and I were impressed with everything about our stay at BijBlauw. We have never encountered such friendly, caring, helpful, service-oriented staff anywhere else in our travels.
The waterfront restaurant is simply stunning. Waking up to breakfast on the sea was the absolute best! Followed closely by ending the day with a cocktail while watching the sun set.
I have some food allergies, but that was never a problem during any of our meals. Staff were always happy to let the chef know……

“This was an amazing stay. The staff was A-1 it was clean comfortable and the beds were the best! The location was great.
