「The property is well maintained, clean, beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed. The close proximity to the river was breathtaking! The back deck is a great place to hang out. About 20 minutes from Crescent City where you'll want to buy groceries. Nikki was extremely responsive to any inquiry. We'll be back!」

「This house is located in a very private location surrounded by a beautiful forest. Sounds of birds and wind are all I heard while sleeping with the window open The kitchen is huge and full of everything you could possibly need. Great spot!」

「The grounds are gorgeous. The themed cottage was amazing. We had fun checking out the decorations inside and playing with the oracle deck. Snack basket was stocked full of goodies. Tried a tea from it that was delicious. Property owner was very responsive when we needed to reach out. Can’t wait to stay again. I’m hoping I can talk family into doing a reunion there in the future. 」

「This little house was perfect for our long weekend in Etna California. Very close to town but cozy and quiet. In the morning deer would be eating grass in the backyard. The kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of seating. Didn’t get to use the fireplace, but it looked cute. We would definitely stay here again. 」

「My family and I traveled to California for a mother’s day trip. This was home was our last stop and by far our favorite. The home was so beautiful and super clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.The host were easily accessible and went the extra mile to help set up a fire to roast some marshmallows! Incredible stay.」

「We used the cabin as a launching pad to explore the Redwoods, and its proximity to Stout Grove was wonderful. We filled all 6 available sleeping places as a family. Space was tight but there were many comforts that made the space enjoyable: homemade cookies upon arrival, lots of blankets and extra pillows, and wonderful smelling hand soap in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and Bridget had bottled water in a jug in the fridge, too. A few more mats at the front and back door entrances...

「This was a lovely stay. We booked the cabin for a redwoods/ocean vacation and could not be happier. The cabin is a cozy, clean stay that overlooks the Smith River. The propane fire pit on the deck was a highlight! Neighborhood is cute and great for walks. Our hosts were kind, helpful, and were available for any questions. Highly recommend!」

「Cassie was extremely responsive and accommodating and she takes pride in the Collier Hotel property. It is clean, comfortable, and neat. All of us appreciate older architecture so we had that added bonus. 「We've stayed at dozens Vrbo's rentals all over the USA, and this by far is our favorite. The host Mr. Dean was very responsive and easy to communicate with. What a beautiful deck over looking the river with the outdoor fireplace (plenty of firewood provided). 「Place is well organized and had all the essentials, but definitely was not as well kept as I expect it would be during peak season. The hammocks in back were covered in mold, the yard was filled with leaves from the Fall, one of our towels had a bloody booger wiped on it either from previous stays or was missed during the clean, and our sheets had some stains on them. Both beds were quite firm and pillows are soft. The internet is slow and proved to be difficult if two people wanted to...

「The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. 」
