"Tucked on a small road, away from traffic, the property easily accommodated four adults and three children with plenty of room to spare. The back patio was a wonderful place to watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. The host was very easy to communcate with and responsive! If you are looking for a place in Hillsdale, I recommend this property. And the price was PERFECT!"

"In spite of many bumps in the road for this weekend (misunderstanding of the reservation, rain, mud, chill, gps that kept sending us in circles) we really enjoyed our stay. I must note, however, that a weekend in a camp cabin is not for the faint of heart—no mint on the pillow or room service! Fortunately my sister and I love the outdoors and this was a step up from tent camping. Our host Holly is a jewel! When we still had not arrived after midnight, she phoned to check on us, and upon learning that our gps was having a psychotic break, she guided us by phone, staying on the line until she saw our headlights turn into the drive. A quick guided tour of our cabin and facilities, and she was able to retire to some well deserved rest until starting again early in the morning. The level of care was constant throughout the weekend. I was coming to the area for an annual event and had considered discontinuing participation because of negative experiences with area hotels. Now that I am aware of this option, I can continue to attend my event."

"I was hoping Bryan Inn was a unique diamond in the rough. It’s not. It wasn’t expensive but it was dirty. Tub was grimy, towels were old/stained, comforter is beat (fuzzies), and the whole room just wasn’t cleaned. It needs to be deep cleaned, patched up and repainted at least. It was gross, my wife certainly wouldn’t have stayed there. I was hoping to chat about it at checkout, but when I walked in their office was in the same condition. It wasn’t worth bringing it up IMO. It looks like someone used to clean, but whoever is in charge now doesn’t look at the details. When you see this type of neglect, it makes you wonder what else they didn’t do??? Did they change the sheets? Did they disinfect the sink, toilet and other hard surfaces? What else have they missed, that we take for granted in hotels that do cleaning well?! To me, the cleanliness of your motel is cheap advertising. If your place is clean, people will say so and return. We won’t be returning, I’ll pay $20 more and stay at the better place."

"Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The hallways were dirty, the elevator was covered in fingerprints and did not appear clean at all, and the room had several maintenance issues. The toilet was leaking, the shower head was leaking, and the exhaust fan was extremely loud. Breakfast was okay overall, but I strongly recommend avoiding the pancake machine — the pancakes were coming out raw inside. Definitely not the level of cleanliness and maintenance we expected."
