「The location was great, lots of parking spaces. Breakfast room and bar area very nice. Booked a Kingsize room everything looked tired, windows were dirty, very old and didn’t close properly. Had no bathrobes nor slippers in the room, wanted us to pay extra in a SPA hotel! Noise after midnight wasn’t managed well by staff. The wedding guests went outside for a cigarette and were pretty loud. Also white vans were loading / unloading stuff after midnight and very early in the morning without any...

There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. 「Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms.
