「Shops and activities really close by. Always found parking outside the home (day permit was provided, also 2-hourly for visitors) Warm with an extra heater provided. Comfy and clean beds. Stairs are steep (not for the elderly) but we had no issues. Great communication with the host.」

「This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for...
