PROS The location is wonderful - close to many great restaurants shops. Grounds are pretty and pristine. The unit is spacious and fully equipped.CONS No washroom facilities at the pool - seemed very strange! The sofa in the unit was really dirty and stained - kinda gross.

We really enjoyed our time at the Whaler. The unit was great with everything you need at your fingertips, from kitchen to beach stuff! Great view of the water and we could listen to the sounds of the waves rolling in. Restaurants and shops are just a few steps away which just makes this a great location. Look forward to coming back!

My family enjoyed the stay at the spacious, updated unit at the Whaler Ka’anapali. Place was as presented, warm and welcoming! Great location and friendly front desk staff. Just a short walk to our hosts’ place at the Westin Resort which is separated by a great shopping mall, all right off the ocean! Would recommend booking!

The whole property is immaculate! Quick three minute walk to restaurants and shops at Whalers Village. Our rental was up to date and clean. The kitchen is perfect. We had a great view of sunsets from the lanai. We highly recommend.

The Whaler 359 is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. You are literally steps from the beach and the Whaler Village where you can find shopping, food, and a general store. Bring your snorkel equipment and enjoy black rock which is a very nice place to snorkel (you can see if from The Whaler). Great view of the beautiful sunset each night, I would defiantly recommend The Whaler and I would stay here again when I return to Maui.

Whalers is a great location and this condo is a nice place to stay. It was clean, updated, well stocked and conveniently located near the beach and Whaler’s Village which has great shopping and restaurants. We had been warned that work was occurring on the outside of the building, but we were disappointed to find that there was plastic wrap on our deck railing which blocked the ocean view when seated and a sign indicating the deck was closed 8-5 M-F. Even though we understand that building maintenance needs to occur, we were disappointed to have missed out on an enjoyable view. Hopefully the work will be completed soon. Maui Westside was great to work with. We would use them again.

We brought our 4-year old and 9-month old to Hawaii for the first time and couldn’t have imagined a more magical time. The condo is right in the mix of all the action with restaurants and shops super close by, but also has a smaller resort feel that makes it feel comfortable and homey. The pool was perfect and my only gripe which is totally out of anyone’s control is there is no shallow end in the pool… it’s 5-6 feet deep all the way around. So as a shortie myself, this made it hard to just chill in the pool unless we were loitering on the stairs. Which was totally fine though. This unit has a gorgeous ocean view and a spacious lanai. The condo has everything you could possibly need from toilet paper to paper towels. The property management even left delicious Kona coffee for us (me) to enjoy! And one of my favorite selling points… the espresso machine! I didn’t even have to miss any of my comforts from home! The furniture was comfy and the place was super clean. I would 1000 percent recommend this place to anyone and will return if I’m lucky enough to take another trip to Maui! Mahalo for a wonderful trip.
