“Nice place and comfort hotel but little bit small and difficult to find entrance and signboard.”

“Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again ”

“Rooms were nice and clean, check in swift and staff friendly. Had the worst nights sleep of my life though. Had to move rooms at 12am as couldn’t get to sleep in my first room due to a constant drone sound from a pump in the building. Reception staff moved me immediately. Finally settled down in the new room only for the fire alarm to go off at 2am. I’m sure my experience would’ve been fine had it not been for those problems”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……

“The cost for the rooms, dinner and drinks was very expensive for what it was. The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses. Otherwise not to be recommended at that price.”

“My husband and I stayed here for one night and overall had a very pleasant experience. Our room was beautiful, clean, and full of character, and we especially appreciated how dog-friendly the property was. The grounds and exterior of the inn were absolutely idyllic and felt like something out of a painting. The only area that could be improved was the welcome and communication from staff. While we were shown to our room at check-in, we weren't given some basic information such as breakfast……

“It was a beautiful place! The host was very nice and friendly; she came out to help us with things we could have read in the info packet she’d emailed, but she didn’t display the least bit of annoyance. Instead, she conversed with us a bit about the property. The tents are so nice and gave little touches that take it over the top: water bottles, ear plugs, eye masks, decor, space heater, lights over the entrance (didn’t keep me awake). The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom building……

“Not the easiest place to find on ‘maps’ but good directions provided by host (in future I will make direct contact with the host!!)”

“I had a one night stay here for the summer solstice. The room was good, bed was nice the surrounding beautiful and serene, but the food was awful and exorbitantly priced. My order of salmon and 2 very small potatoes came in cold so I took it back. Well they warmed it for me but it got me wondering why it came cold in the first place. The waiting staff didn't seem bothered”
