“The cabins are wonderful and you immerse yourself in the Old Florida setting. I spent only 1 night but I would like to return for a whole week as a retreat to read and write. That is one of those places that stay with you and so inspiring. Since it was a Monday the restaurant was closed but can t wait to try it out next time I am back.”

The kitchen staff and breakfast area was satisfactory. When we entered, there was no hand soap at the bathroom sink and the shower soap container was empty. The manager replaced the empty shower container provided no hand soap for the sink area. We had to use the Palmolive dishwashing liquid to wash our hands after using the toilet. The Wi-Fi wasn’t……

“My stay at Staybridge Suites in Ocala was excellent. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The location was another big plus. It is very convenient to major highways, making it easy to get around Ocala and access nearby restaurants, shopping, and attractions without spending a lot of time driving. I was first assigned Room 117, and the moment I walked in, there was a strong musty odor. When I checked the bedsheets, they were filthy—covered in stains and small bugs. “Absolutely had a wonderful stay. The room was very nice and comfortable. They allow dogs but I had my Great Dane service dog with no issues. They gave her a cute pink and white bandana, a comfy bed and have a beautiful dog park. They also were super nice giving us a room directly across from the dog park gate.”

“We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning.……
