「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」

「Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History. We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down. 」

「Nice spacious and very clean room. Well facilitated with a tea tray and bottles of water. Room was immensely hot but thankfully able to open all the windows. Liked fresh cooked breakfast (as opposed to usual buffets) however I would love to see a better drinkable coffee being served and a little gripe - after requesting hard poached egg with no ‘snot’ my egg was totally snotty when I cut it and ran into my breakfast so didn’t eat much. 「Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall.」

「Standard room had view to back of building, so private and quiet. Not possible to adjust heating, so too stuffy at night. No fridge or biscuits in room. Bathroom had very good shower and lighting. Sufficient storage and hangers in room, but limited sockets and had to plug in kettle next to tv. Breakfast was good, but could do with more coffee machines. Parking reasonably priced and directly behind hotel. Swimming pool a big bonus, but the bins were full and needed emptying. I would stay here...

「Cleanliness was excellent, no restaurant for most of my stay. Walls in room are paper thin, so can hear everything in next room! Overall, booking in process very good, room was very good… maybe don’t place guesses in rooms next to staff, especially if they are ill and cough all night long!!! 」

「Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. 」
