"We had a wonderful time on our getaway! The area was so quiet, and a perfect place to recharge. So much of our state is experiencing drought, so we weren't necessarily surprised to see that the lake was down somewhere around 18" to 24". The docks were all pretty much over dry land in September, but that did not stop us from canoeing and floating almost every day. I would note that the fence was really in a state of disrepair when we arrived with our dog. I believe it is up for replacement, but this was a small concern for us during our stay, mainly at night when visibility was poor. Paul was incredibly responsive prior to our check in, and at check out. We had no issues at all during our stay, and would absolutely stay there again."
