The apartment in Klein-Hesel is located in the heart of Ostfriesland in a rural secluded location surrounded by green meadows. We are a cycling region with a well-developed cycle path network and beautiful paths for relaxing walks. Often animals such as deer, hares and rare bird species are observed. In nearby distance (about 4 km) there is the Heseler forest for long hikes and walks or to the deserted village in the middle of the forest. A highlight is the crank ferry (May-Oct.) With which you can translate yourself by hand from one bank to another. The fully operational Holtländer windmill offers tea, coffee and home-baked cake in its mill café from May to October. In Leer next to the harbor is the historic old town, a sign of the city. Leer has a lot to offer, such as: For example the museum of local history, the tea museum of the company Bünting as well as the museum harbor with historical ships. Since 2011, there is the Leeraner Miniaturland, a 1200 m² large hall with buildings and other attractions Ostfrieslands, all in miniature. Within the year is in the holiday region Hesel and around so much going on. A highlight would be the summer festival on Gut Stikelkamp, the harvest festival (Sept / Oct) with a large crop parade. Modern furnished apartment (complete house) with separate entrance. The kitchen is equipped with a fitted kitchen that includes a fridge / freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is also a breakfast set (coffee maker, kettle and toaster in one unit) and a Unterbauradio with CD. A small selection of different teas, jams and honey are available free of charge. The kitchen has a dining table (round, extendable) and four chairs. The living room is equipped with satellite TV and a pull-out sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m). The bedroom has a large wardrobe and a double bed (2.00 x 2.00 m) with normal entrance height. The shower in the bathroom has a ground level entrance and in the area of the toilet is a grab handle as a stand-up. For supplies, a storage room is available which is equipped with a washing machine for free use. Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. There are also games for younger guests. (Swing, slide, trampoline). A party room with bar can also be used by arrangement. A maximum of two dogs up to a height of 60 cm are allowed for a surcharge.
Arrivals are possible from 14:00 to 18:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
