“There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rumwold shepherds hut. Perfect location for seeing the local area, we spent a day at Port Lympne and had a Sunday roast at The Woolpack Inn not far away. “We thought Goldings was a lovely cottage in a lovely location but not without its faults, mainly the lighting which was awful, gloomy and only one light for a double bed, which was ridiculously bright ! “The cabin was beautifully curated and clean. It felt cozy and welcoming as soon as we entered. Pat & Joy were wonderful and friendly - Joy came to greet us when we checked in and made sure we were comfortable. She walked us through the property and told us about how everything worked.
