This is a great place to stay. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The food was amazing, and the staff were excellent. The views aren’t bad either! Will be definitely staying again!

Just returned to a two night stay at The Swan - our room was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and a great bath and shower (bath in room!). Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable on the area.

Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Amazing gem!

An amazing gem tucked away in this beautiful part of the world. Great staff who were friendly and helpful and a fabulous restaurant. Couldn’t ask for more from the stylish rooms to the wine selection.

A lovely gem of a pub with a fantastic restaurant and friendly staff/hosts. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely return. Stayed in the largest of the three bedrooms. Very characterful and with a freestanding bath in the bedroom, decent double shower in bathroom and 2 comfortable swivel chairs in bedroom. It was very comfortable. Showing a little sign of wear and tear but not major. Only downside in bathroom was no overflow for sink, so no plug but it wasn’t a major issue. Had been twice previously for their excellent Sunday lunch, so decided to stay over this time and try one of their interesting fish dishes. Tried the catalan fish stew which was superb. It was difficult to choose from the lovely dishes on the menu. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and so did the bar. Breakfast was excellent and nice and peaceful with only 6 guests. Would definitely recommend staying and eating at the Swan and we wish the owners much continued success.

A real find! A pub in the middle of rural Kettleshulme concealed an excellent restaurant and very comfortable rooms. The bedroom was very well equipped - including a built in toothbrush charger!
