Room was very small and quite dirty, sheets didn’t look that clean. Shower didn’t work very well. For an emergency stay it’s fine but otherwise I’d suggest looking elsewhere. It’s a pub rather than a hotel and parking is a bit dodgy. Wouldn’t stay there again

The room was adequate, the staff were friendly. The corridor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the doors banging at all hours wasn’t great but for the price, it did my needs.

Main property did have a roof due to major building works. Room was like an oven, no fan and windows only opened a small bit. Furniture was very cheap and the bed was awfully uncomfortable. No staff to help me check out at 7 am either.

Very good for the price , I turned up an hour and a half before the check in time and they let me have the room for no extra charge . This particular room the bathroom was average but stayed before and the other room and an epic bathroom so 8.5 out of 10 from me . Definitely use this place again

There is intention for updates of this property (hence the missing roof) but overall work quality and room condition is not great. The doors on the corridor are fitted with door closure mechanism, and they slam the doors each time they are opened (very disturbing at night)

We book the hotel, When we arrived at the hotel ,was told they had no rooms available. also they said that they couldn’t find our booking , then said that something may be available at a different hotel, when looked at the place there was no suitable parking . Also the man had not been able to confirm with the hotel, They now say there was a room and have kept our money.

Did inform staff as was concerned had it been a child's finger the outcome might not've been as lucky.... but wasn't exactly met with sympathy or concerns.

Does what it says on the tin. Can recommend!

The room was small but clean, comfortable and came with a kettle, fridge and microwave as well as a tv. En-suite shower and toilet. Clearly designed for people staying away for work in the week. There is nothing fancy or pretentious here. This former 1930's built pub does what it says on the tin. We needed an emergency overnight with two small dogs in tow! Did the job, staff were helpful (there is a small charge per dog). Would stay here again.
