“Check in: the garage was not labeled as described in the check-in procedure so it took us awhile to locate the lock box. Kitchen: the freezer hadn’t been defrosted in ages, there were no ice cube trays. The apartment is for 6 people but there were only 3 wine glasses. There was a foul smell from the kitchen drain. It would be helpful to have a French Press or a coffee maker instead of needing to buy pods. Some basic supplies in the kitchen would be appreciated. Main bedroom bath: there was……

“Really lovely and unusual place to stay. Great location on the river and very easy to walk to all the main areas of the town. Loved sitting out on the deck in the sun. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.”

“Very comfortable stay near all the best sights and food, walkable from the train station. The home was well furnished and updated, had very good sound insulation for the pub next door. We discovered a radiator issue that was handled immediately and courteously without interrupting our plans. Would absolutely return/recommend.”

“I understand the rental was new, so there's some scope for improvement, but we got off to a bad start when I booked the property but was then told the pictures did not relate to the flat available. After negotiating we stayed, and the smart TV did not stream any channel or even Netflix, but although the shower immersion heater unit worked, the tap only ran cold in the bathroom sink, and there could have been a few more mugs, cutlery and some side plates would have been helpful. Living area is one level above street and can be a little noisy, since it’s on a busy street, but the bedroom is a level above that and much quieter. It has many restaurants, both fine and casual dining. It is a decent walk or a short bus ride to the Grand Arcade and the colleges. We would stay here again.”
