“This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay .”

Breakfast - just brought plate without asking what I actually want to have for full English?? This place is not good - cannot recommend. One bright spot was easy parking. ”

“Bar and grill is excellent, decent selection with the unexpected bonus of a dart board and pool table, although an oche, a fixed board and one table less around the pool table would be good. The rooms are decent value for money, very comfy bed and all you really need albeit a little on the small side in the shower room. Like all such places, the staff can make the difference and the peeps here were fabulous... helpful, chatty, friendly and exactly what you want to find and they made the……
