“I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”

“Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. Good selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided, which was nice. There were also some sweet treats and a tourist map provided in the room, which was very useful. “Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. Carl & Tace kindly let me keep my wheelchair in the hallway too which really saved us having to keep putting it back in the car when going out. We also really appreciate that we were……

Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly.
