"The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location close to the seafront, the pier, the harbour, the parks, pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops, steam railway, train and bus station made it the perfect place to stay for a seaside holiday. I only ordered the breakfast, not evening meals, the dining room was nice and the food was very good. I recommend it."

"Clean and tidy room. Bed comfortable. Price was very good. What I would say is that it says dog friendly but should be dogs tolerated as no dogs in breakfast room or to be left alone in your room so where do you go to eat? No bowls provided."

"The moment I walked into my room it made a fabulous imoact, immaculately clean , stylish, fresh, coffee and tea making fascilities readily avaiable plus a nice useful small fridge... and then Ben the really kind and friendly young Man for whom Nothing was too much trouble and he looked after everything so well and made me feel so welcome and at home... Nice cosy bed, warm and comfortable no noise outside... The location is peaceful never heard cars or raised voices at night.... The location is close to the beach, 10 minute walk away, it has a nice pier with an amusement arcade food etc I am already planning another trip in the Spring, I rate this hotel a 10/10"
