“Second time staying here while visiting daughter in college. Great unit for the two of us. Less than 10 minute drive to NC State. Walked around the neighborhood everyday just as I would at home. Bottom line: would certainly stay again. ”

“Such a cozy, well-appointed place! The perfect size and location for what we needed. No need for a car—we were walking distance from downtown Raleigh, and a quick scooter/bike ride from the bus station to get to Durham. Strolling the historic Oakwood neighborhood in the morning was lovely. Definitely check out the brunch at Longleaf Swine right on the corner—it blew us away. We couldn’t wait to get back to The Acorn at the end of a long day. And as coffee people, we especially appreciated the……

“I stayed here for the weekend while some work was being done on my house, and it was perfect. It's small (obviously, since it's a studio), but it's SO cute and perfect for either a solo or couples' getaway. It has everything you'd need for a short stay, coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer, etc. I didn't meet the host, but she was super friendly and communicative, and gave very specific directions for how to get into the apartment. Would definitely book here again if the need arises.”

“The proper was nice but was a bit hard to find at first. A lot of the furniture was wobbly and caused us to spill things when we put them on the tables. Relatedly, we did not have many paper towels or paper products during our stay to clean up. ”
