“We chose Holyhead because it’s close to South Stack (incredible scenery, and lots of birds - and baby birds!), and Newborough (we didn’t end up going there, but it sounds beautiful). Holyhead itself is a bit run down, and not a tourist destination, more of a pass-through place according to the locals. But The Hut was close to Market Street with pubs, restaurants and grocery stores, and an easy walk from the train station. We managed to get a taxi to South Stack (there aren’t a lot of them),……

We ordered breakfast for next day all came just as we asked no need to change our order as the food was excellent ( a change was a available) room was clean Bed made room refreshed every day. owners were always ready to help gave us lots of info on food /beaches and views and ”

“A beautiful property. Felt like home from home. Stunning sea views to the rear and right onto the coastal path from the garden gate. Amazing sunsets viewed from the fantastic hot tub. So peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed our stay so much.”

“Just stayed here for two night. Its a lovely location, very quite. The only noise is the sheep baaing the cows mooing and the ducks quacking. The Shepherds hut is very cosy and very well equipped. Would recommend. ”

“4 Adults stayed 2 nights, tent was spacious and clean. Host was friendly. Toilet block clean and showers hot. Good location.”

“Booked only four weeks in advance at a very busy time of year. Good value at the peak of Summer time mid August. Two adults a 3 year old and a six year old plenty of room in the property. Would definitely return in the future. Only complaint was we were promised internet / WiFi but not available it didn't detract from the stay.”

“Great little getaway for myself, my wife and our dogs. The place itself is finished to a really high standard and very cosy, especially when the log burner is on. The mezzanine is great and has a really comfy bed. The only thing that would have made it better is if the front area was fenced off with it being dog friendly however that certainly didnt ruin it for us. Would definitely recommend ”
