A little heaven, very peaceful place with just the sounds of the forest and the breeze at night. You’ll have full privacy unlike other misleading rentals you can see on Vrbo. Jim is a super host. The best place I stayed during my 2 weeks in Hawai

Absolutely Wonderful view and stay

We loved the view from the deck and the outdoor kitchen on the deck. The view was amazing as was the sunrise's. We spent our first day just relaxing on the property and cooking at the cottage. Jim and Kim have created a fantastic Hawaiian getaway with lovely art.

A wonderful stay on the north side!

This rental was absolutely the perfect way to start out our Hawaii vacation. The gardens outside were absolutely beautiful and the view of the ocean couldn't be beat! We wish we had more time there to relax on top of all tourist stuff we did. The room was comfortable and matched the listing exactly.There is a short, steep hill that you need to climb to get to the unit (although you probably could have walked around the other house to avoid the hill) so be aware of you have mobility issues...just an FYI...not a complaint.We highly recommend this rental!!

Such a find!!

Property overlooks the ocean and the wooded area and fields below. The owners are friendly and want to assist how ever they can to make sure the stay is comfortable. I will definitely be booking with them again.

Very relaxing stay

We loved this place. It was very quiet and relaxing. It had incredible views of the ocean. We really liked sitting outside on the lanei in the evenings. The property was in a great location and it was just a short drive to some really awesome beaches.

Bigger than it looks in the picture

The view of the ocean from the lanai is spectacular. We spent many hours just watching wildlife including some dolphinsand the beautiful ocean.

Fantastic quiet getaway

Great place for a quiet, peaceful trip to Hawaii Island. Host was polite, unit was clean and had everything we needed. Plus the lanai and view were amazing. We would stay here again.

Really nice to be able to spend a few days up here. Great first light & surrounding town. Within 10 miles of some of the best views on Hawaii. I appreciate Kim and Jim’s hospitality.

Kolopa State Park and Honoka’a Getaway

Awesome views, peaceful, quiet and close to our favorite State Park, Waimea, and on the Hamakua Coast. Our Lanai had a great view with two outdoor tables and was covered. There was a relaxing outdoor patio as well. The kitchen was complete and the bed was comfortable. We will be back again. Mahalo, Jim and Kim
