“This is the second time we have stayed here as a base for attending the Festival of speed. The standard of accommodation is good, it is exceptionally well equipped and very clean. The stand out is the location next the quay and on a nature reserve. we love walking around the nature reserve and viewing the wild life from the balcony. The Festival is about a 35 minute drive and during the week we also visited Arundel Castle and the Isle of Wight. We will be coming back next year.”

“We needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay as were coming to Lewes for my dad’s funeral. The house was perfect - beautifully arranged and attentively styled, and hugely homely - like a comforting hug. We wanted boiled eggs for breakfast and there were no egg cups so we bought three in town and left as a gift. A small microwave would be a useful addition to the kitchen.”

“Hawthorn Lodge is a nice place to stay. The only issue is lack of plugs near any mirror to use the hairdryer.”

“A beautiful chalet, newly renovated with everything we needed for the family. Cosy bedding, soft towels, highchair and all the TV options the kids could need. A short drive or walk to Selsey, Asda around the corner and a lovely pool on site. I believe this is the nicest chalet on site!”

“have stayed here once a year for the last 3 years. It’s so peaceful and lodges are excellent quality and have everything you need inside them.Modern, comfortable, dog friendly, hot tub cleaned daily.Reception is extremely helpful. The owners are really accommodating and can’t do enough for you and your stay!Lovely walks and pubs to visit in walking distance. We always look forward to coming back year after year!”

“Another great stay @ Tilford Woods Lodge Retreat. Everything you need all under one roof and the Hot Tub as always was a bonus. Our favourite place to unwind and relax every once in a while. We will be back and would recommend to anyone just wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Lots to do in and around surrounding areas. Look forward to our next time @ Tilford Woods.”

“Lovely relaxing weekend Everything has been thought of to make this a home from home experience”

“First class holiday. The second time we have visited and we will probably go again. It is really a fabulous site.”
