Great location, relaxing!

Came into town a couple days early for an early Monday meeting and wanted to enjoy a private pool and cook a nice meal. Everything was wonderful and clean and well kept. The pool was very relaxing. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the stay was very nice. I will book this house again.

Long weekend

House was perfect for our needs, we enjoyed the trains running behind. No horns blow in the area, just bells every now and then. House was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would stay again.

Okay house but bad disclosure

A train ran directly behind the house all day and night. This should have been disclosed. Next door, a full reconstruction of a house was going on. Not worth the amount I paid. Nice big tV in living room. Master bed was uncomfortable. Lumpy mattress. Price should be lowered.

The host was very communicative and friendly. The house is in a great location for the Medical Center. Easy quick drive. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Good for walks. Although, a train does run behind the house a lot. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is nice. Outdoor area is nice, but furniture is weathered. Overall, a great stay.

This property was perfect for our two-week stay in Houston. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and ideal for walking dogs, with sidewalks throughout. The home itself is updated, very clean, and exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and more, which made settling in much easier. The fully fenced backyard was great! The outdoor furniture is comfy, and the grill and firepit made it such an enjoyable space to relax and hang out. They also provided an extra propane tank, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Parking was easy with both a garage and gated space, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the smart TVs made streaming easy. There is an oversized washer and dryer, and the laundry room is fully stocked with detergent, dryer sheets, vacuum, broom, iron, and other essentials. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft, high-quality linens. There is a train nearby, and while I was initially concerned about potential noise, it turned out to be no issue at all and never interfered with our sleep or stay. If anything, we found it kind of cool! Overall, this home exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place to stay in Houston.

House is good once you're in.

The initial impression was not good. The landscaping in front of the house is severely overgrown and could be a safety issue. The excessive messages from the host regarding rules against parties and guests made it extremely awkward and unwelcoming even after I gave a detailed explanation of all that were staying at the property as well as our daily plans. The camera out back by the pool, although I understand for a liability and safety perspective, is monitored often and shows a green light when it's being watched which made me somewhat uncomfortable. The house was super clean and tidy but 6 towels for 6 people over 4 days at a house with a pool is not nearly enough. also, there are no extra blankets in the house. For as many messages about rules against partying, extra guests, etc, there is an excessive amount of plates, cups, etc as well as a bar by the pool. the construction next door wasn't nearly as bad as intrusive as the trains that pass just behind the back fence all day and night. For the price, it wasn't bad if you can get past the overgrown trees in the front and through all of the messages before you even get to the house. It is located in a decent area of town and we never felt near harms way.
