The people, the culture, the food--- the Heights neighborhood is a 6-minute car ride a way, and the stay in this updated guesthouse is very relaxing. There are several restaurants within a 1-2 mile radius as well as corner stores and gas stations within a few blocks. Getting around Houston is a car city! However the METRORail station is a 2 minute walk from our home. Easily accessible by Uber and other car hailing services. Home safety Exterior security cameras on propertyThere is an exterior security camera located at the front entryway and driveway only, ensuring a secure environment for all guests. No interior areas or private outdoor spaces are monitored to respect your privacy in full compliance with Airbnb’s policies. We had a very good stay. The property is just as pictured, it's clean, fresh and bright. It's a garage apartment in the backyard of the primary home, easily accessed via a gated driveway. Parking is a non-issue, plenty of street parking right outside the rental which you can see from the balcony. Neighborhood seemed very laid back and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!
