“It is well designed and spacious. They thought of many important details that made it more comfortable and it is perfect for solo travelers.”

“We were in the area for a wedding and stayed a few extra days at The Amelia. We loved the hotel and had a huge 1 bedroom suite on the top floor. It felt like staying in someone’s personal home. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was kept tidy daily. There is a small kitchen area stocked with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. It was only a few short blocks to the main part of town with great coffee shops, restaurants and stores. I would definitely book this hotel again if we are in the……

“Unfortunately, we had the smallest room with the smallest bathroom (Margaret Room). Normally we don't complain but the experience did not start out well. The toilet seat was loose and it just got worse in the evening. We should have let management know right away but we didn't expect it to fall off. The bathroom sink is narrow and "sideways". I suggested they remove the 2" frame from the bathroom mirror so we could bend down and rinse our mouths out instead of splashing water up to our……

“We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive, and overall it was a decent experience. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. When we arrived, it appeared the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but after reaching out to Steven, he responded immediately and had his housekeeper come take care of it right away. “The location was very convenient. We had stayed here before but it was totally redone and beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Bed was very comfortable and room was beautiful. My favorite was the farm fresh yogurt machine you could add granola, nuts, cranberries and brown sugar to but had run out. The staff told me they would make more and it was close to 10:00 closing time for the continental breakfast! We would definitely go there again on our trip upstate!!!”
