“The hotel room is modern and cozy, however the soundproof is terrible as I can almost hear everything from my next door, and the door of shower does not sealed properly so there is always a flood after each shower. I commented this to the staffs when I was checking out, and apparently it is a known issue if you are unlucky enough as myself to get one of the connected rooms without any prior notification.”
“Love the Langham, very convenient with great views of the city. Rooms are looking a bit tired and need a revamp though. The Melba restaurant is great. Our welcome was pretty under whelming though. Could not really hear or understand them, no upgrade was offered even though it was very quiet. ”
“We had a stay for 5 days and 4 nights. Everything was great except the cleaning service. Every time we got back to our hotel room, the condition was terrible. It was uncleaned and untidied. The blanket and bed sheet were everywhere as if somebody just slept on it. No change of towels. Surface was never wiped. Very disappointed. ”
“Nice breakfast package and rooftop bar. Professional service and decent accommodation, should be amazing with river view. We were offered with drinks during waiting time of our room. Spacious and minimal room which is eco-friendly. Appreciate if extra chair and mirror are there. All in all, we have a comfort stay here and it’s definitely an accessible location to many places!”
“Excellent location. Easy to get around with the Melbourne Central Station of the free city tram in walking distance. State Library is also 3-5 minutes walk away.
Just the washing machines in the self laundry are not clean for use if you happen to need the service.”
"I recently stayed at Windsor Hotel, which boasts a rich history of over 150 years, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Upon our arrival with two large pieces of luggage, we were greeted by a male staff member who promptly walked away to the restroom, showing no interest in assisting us. When we were checking out and walking to the door, the bellboy saw us but chose to walk away to assist other guests with their luggage for a ride in a Mercedes-Benz, leaving us to manage on our own. It’s unclear if he had any advantage in doing so.
We ended up putting our luggage back in the car ourselves while navigating several stairs at the entrance. While the female receptionist was helpful, the overall attitude of the staff left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the hotel was also concerning; I found a spider web above the bed, and the windows had clearly gone uncleaned for quite some time.
It’s disheartening to see such a historic establishment being let down by its current staff. I hope they can address these issues for future guests.

"Very good location close to Southern Cross station and supermarket. Very clean. Amenities are Australian standard (basic level but enough for use). The room is comfy, equipped with a fridge. Breakfast really does not worth going!!! I am on discount but still don't find it worthy. only basic cereals, toasts, egg, beans, milk, coffee machine. For AUD 15 (regular price) and with staff serving the food, they should make more variety of food and make it a better part of the hotel service...."

Good oocation, just a few minutes walk to the tram station and many cafe nearby. "
