This secluded mountain hideaway is perfect for a romantic weekend escape or a month in the woods to finally write the book that has been waiting inside you for far too long. Nestled on 1.5 acres in the charming town of Idyllwild, the home offers both privacy and easy access to everything the village has to offer.
Wake up to sunlight pouring through floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating the living room and framing sweeping views of the mountain landscape and towering pine trees beyond. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful, and deeply restorative — the kind of place where time slows down and creativity returns.
Despite the sense of seclusion, you’re just a five-minute drive from town and less than a mile from Idyllwild State Park, where miles of hiking trails wind through some of Southern California’s most beautiful wilderness.

Nice cabin. Perfect size for a couple.
Clear instructions, self check in, comfortable and clean. The dirt road could be an issue for some vehicles, but it’s only the immediate block. There’s pavement within about 100 yards in either direction. Cabin was pretty well stocked with the things you would expect, only exception a box of tissues would have been nice.
